Our firm manufacturing API 5L L450 Pipe follow a basic process which begins with the thermal expansion of pipe. This process allows making pipes with large diameters and also refines its wall thickness. Environmentally friendly process i.e. induction heating is performed to heat the pipe and results in a pipe having mechanical properties that withstand the heat treatment. The thickness and diameter of the pipe are in accordance with the specification and within the range of tolerance. The next process i.e. straightening is necessary after expansion. In this, laser measurement system is used followed by a correction process. Then, a sample of a pipe is taken for the test where it is tested for destructive testing.

The samples are tested to determine the chemical and mechanical properties and ensure that they are in accordance with the specifications. API 5L L450 Pipe is then passed to a cleaning booth. Here the sanding belts and wire brushes remove the iron oxides and thus give an ideal surface for ultrasonic testing. The next process is non-destructive testing where irregularities of pipes are checked using ET system. The UT system then checks for the flaws in the pipe. In the meanwhile manual and visual inspection is also perfumed which is followed by the deposition process and manual ultrasonic testing.

The API 5L L450 Pipe is next tested for leaks and deformation via hydro tester. By default, beveling is performed on all pipes. The next process after beveling is coating where the pipe is coated with the safe coating that can endure aggressive environments. Each pipe is then marked as per the industry standards. It is then sent for quality assessment and if it passes, it is packed and delivered.
