Incoloy 825 Pipe Fittings are made from alloy 825 that provides practical immunity against polythionic acid SSC and chloride stress corrosion cracking. The compression fitting has some chief characteristics such as corrosion resistance that make it suitable for high-speed operations like milling, grinding and turning. They are often used in marine exhaust systems, piping, and vessels. Their applications are similar to alloy 20. This is due to the high nickel content that offers excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking. The compression fittings can be either hot or cold worked. The temperature range for hot working is 870 degrees C to 1180 degree C.

At the temperature range of 870 degree- 980 degrees C the finishing of these pipes is done. The ferrule pipe fittings work well at the temperature ranging from cryogenic to 2000ᵒF. the Inconel 825 Pipes and Pipe Fittings specifications are ASTM B166 ASME SB 166. The ends of pipe can be threaded, welded or JIC. The pressure rating should be 1000 psi, 7180 psi, 10000 psi and 3000 psi. NPT, BSPP, and BSPT are the specifications for threads. The test certifications are manufacturer TC, raw materials certificate, radiography test report, standard certificates such as EN 102043.1, NACE MR 01075 FERRIT CONTENT. Manufacturer provides these certifications at the customer end.
